Tamarindtree Zambezi River Lodge is a small lodge with 2 chalets accommodating a maximum of 8 guests.  It is largely built with natural materials in consideration of the the environment, comfort and contact with nature are the result.

The chalets, are discreetly located along the riverbank, in the shade of huge Tamarind and other native trees. The chalets have been beautifully furnished to create a luxurious yet homely atmosphere. They are spacious and comfortable and each has 2 twin-bedded bedrooms with en-suite tiled bathrooms.  The private lounge in each chalet can be made up up to accommodate an extra 2 guests, when families or groups of up to 6 people wish to stay together.  Solar panels are used for lighting needs, but a generator is available to run air conditioners in the bedrooms during the hottest months if required.

The central dining room and bar are positioned to give guests a spectacular view of the famous Redcliffs with the Zambezi flowing in the foreground. Bush comfort is the order of the day as guests sit back, relax and enjoy ice cold drinks from our well stocked bar.  A viewing deck overlooking the river, from where game can be seen coming down to drink, adds to the magic.

Meal times are flexible to suite guests requirements and depending on the activities will usually comprise of a delicious full English breakfast/brunch, a tasty light lunch and a sumptuous three course dinner in the evenings. We pride ourselves on the standard of our cuisine and with advance notice will go out of our way to meet any special dietary requirements.
